hi Mike thanks for the video. i have question im facing please. i recently bought presets of Gavin Harrison for Superior drummer 3 the problem is when i connect my Edrums most of instruments are mixed up and i was wonder is there any way i can copy the presets with it mixer and stuff so i could create new drum set based on the old presets thank you indeed.

They really should've made this an SDX instead. They could've called it the grunge foundry. Nirvana, Helmet, Prong, Radiohead etc. They really missed out on Steve's potential.

So, SDX expansion will work on EZD3???????

I use HDD for superior drummer 3 and it works with no issue , but I use a lot of vst’s each session and I wouldn’t use a bunch off an HDD at one time that will definitely bottleneck I’ve been using an m2 and ssd for the rest

After a recommendation from a friend I decided to get myself the "Progressive Foundry" SDX and goddamn, is it easy to get a good classic heavy metal tone out of it even with just the raw sounds and very little FX work. The depth in the sampling of the kicks isn't quite there, but the snares and toms and cymbals are just very lively in the best of ways.

SD3 is rarely on sale, and when it does, it's never a huge sale. EZ doesn't really go on sale at all, they only include a "free" pack as part of their sales. At least AD2 has massive sales.

This superior drummer pack was made to sound exactly like metallica drums so of course its going to sound better.

I'm facing a problem with my Superior drummer if you can help me please. i bought preset from someone and when I plug my Edrums to play I have to change like cymbals and tom. the problem is is there any way to copy the presets and paste them on the tom or cymbal I add? and I also can't save the preset so everytime I close my superior and reopen it again I lose the sitting ( I mean about the tom and cymbal ) for example my floor tom sit on ride so I will like to change it place without losing the preset and mixing or EQ. thank you so much

üst purchased SD but found that there is a polyphony problem.Some cymbals are not playing when hiatus or BD is peaking for some reason.Any work around?

I’m going to use them with my electronic kit. I haven’t downloaded it yet. I already paid for for a half a year so far and I haven’t even used it. 😂 I’m glad it sounds great right from the start!

hi, can you help me to set my superior drummer 3 working? I'm using splitter to have extra cymbal and everytime I close the program the sitting resets. i would like to have them saved if it's possible. or you can help me to set it through zoom and i will pay for it. thank you

How did you convert your acoustic kit?

How do you save a stack? I saved one then when I opened it back come up the first instrument played but the second wouldn't. It was still in the stack but it wouldn't play.

I love this tune but the irony of how you cover a song with the signature E Street grove that was recorded using a drum machine without the ESB in the studio is not lost on me.

I love how the song is called “passenger side” and the song is totally like Tim McGraw “Shotgun rider” was this intentional? I noticed a song in a previous video that also sound like a rip off of a 90s alternative song…

I believe most of those who complain don't play e-drums. I can tell SD3 is first software which made my kit feel like a real drums. it took dust out of my pads.. no hi hat problems, no spikes, finally:)

Hi Mike, I have been trying to add new additional EZX libraries to SD3 but I haven’t be able to install them I’m working on Mac and only show me the advice: no sound libraries found in selected directory. I will appreciate if you could help me about that.

And 14 years later I'm still using this library, and still in Superior 2. Reason being, ToonTrack won't make Superior 3 work with my screen reading software for the blind. So I'm stuck on almost 20 year old drum software. But it still sounds great for a midi library.

Thank you for the video, but my consideration was for having too small of a SSD in your computer, and getting an external SSD, Now I'm thinking about the transfer rate. There are 5 folders in the library with an average of 44GB per folder.
